As the game kicked off Connor Chilton broke in to the box and was brought down by the Radcliffe defenders, Jack Sanders stepped up and scored from the resulting penalty 1-0 Trowell, after 30 seconds Radcliffe then restarted the game and went straight on the attack and were level 30 seconds later. The game then settled down with both sides having a couple of chances to take the lead. Then after some good link up play down the right for Radcliffe they cut in to the area and squeezed the ball in at the near post, with half time approaching Trowell should have levelled again with their keeper pulling off some great saves. Half time Radcliffe 2-1 Trowell.
The second half saw Trowell keep pressing for the equalizer again and having a lot of the ball but lacking that final pass, with Trowell pressing Radcliffe had a couple of chances to put the game to bed but for Luke to be in top form once again, finally a long throw from substitute Dwayne was cleared straight out to Charlie on the edge of the box who unleashed an unstoppable shot straight in to the roof of the net. All the lads ran their socks off today fair result from a good game.
