Trowell FC 0 Attenborough Colts 2

Trowell travelled to play Attenborough again, following last week’s home victory over said team. Both teams respected a one-minute silence to mark Remembrance Day, due to the fact Trowell do not play next Sunday. The first half saw a Trowell side well below par, compared to last week’s performance. Attenborough had most of the first half possession and on 20 mins opened the scoring, Luke came out to dive at the attackers feet with Charlie in close pursuit, only for the ball to break away from both challenges falling nicely to be tapped into the empty net 1- 0. Trowells only real effort of the first half came on 40 mins, Nakeel put a through ball for Connor C to chase his shot was parried away but could not be put away by the Trowell team.
The second half matched the first, with Trowell never getting out of first gear, creating a few chances but never really testing the opposition keeper. Attenborough almost double there lead, but were denied by a brave goal line clearance by Danny which saw him end up wrapped around the bottom of the goal post. Ryan and Jack tried to rally the team to get an equaliser, but the game was finished off on 80 mins , with the Attenborough striker placing his shot into the bottom corner 2 – 0.
Man Of the Match: Danny great defence performance and goal line clearance
