Radcliffe Olympic v Trowell

The weather was kind to us today dispite a strong breeze and the pitch was in good condition so game on !!

Both teams started well but Trowell went one up from a great effort from Josh West who shot from the left corner of the area left Olympics goallie with no chance.

As the game progressed Olympic were allowed more and more chances by Trowell and soon equalized taking the score to 1–1 at half time.

Trowell battled on in the second half creating most of the chances but again not capitalizing on them , they were made to pay for this later in the half when a ball over from near  the corner flag had our keeper  strugging to get as it hovered aroung in the wind the ball finally hit the top of the far post only for it to bounce out and deflect back  into the goal off an unfortunate Ben Flint,  2–1  Olympic stole the tunder with a good shot close to the final whistle Radcliffe Olympic   3  Trowell 1

Well again a good  percentage of the the play to Trowell  but unable to get the ball in !! however a good turn out, keep trying lads your time will come.
