This was a very strong performance by Trowell today as they all played with strength and conviction.
A well fought 1st half saw both teams level at 0-0 after good chances created by new summer signings Dan Harper together with Owen Waters. The 2nd half was just as intense as Trowell could sense a goal, and within 5 minutes of kick-off were a goal to the good when Matthew Green scored from 10 yards out after the home side couldn’t clear their lines.
Trowell were then forced to defend more as West Bridgeford tried to attack, this resulted in some good end to end action, and eventually Bradley Holmes doubled his teams lead. Final score, 2-0. A very good display by the boys and they were already looking forward to their next league game to surge up the league.
