Trowell FC U13 5 Keyworth Utd U13 1

Trowell were quick out of the blocks from kick-off and were passing the ball around well using all their area and making Keyworth do all the chasing. Early on the visitors were 2 goals to the good, thanks to the 1st goal by Owen Waters who was in the right place at the right time to blast the ball home from close range. The 2nd goal was scored by Ryan Malone whose left-foot effort had the keeper beat.

The 2nd half begun with a good spell by Keyworth who pressed hard to get themselves back in the game, but Trowells defence was resilient and before too long were 3-0 up when Miles Hodelin lobbed a pass into Keyworths box and Oliver Severn was there to put the ball away. Trowell continued to push forward and were soon rewarded with their 4th of the game when Dan Harper battled through Keyworths defence and scored.

Keyworth then made it 4-1 by winning a free-kick, but that only served to be a consolation goal, as Dan Harper once again scythed through Keyworths defenders too slot home his second goal of the game and seal Trowell’s 5-1 win.
