Real Utd 3 Trowell FC 1

A bright start was made by Trowell as Oliver Severn scored from close range in the opening 10 minutes to put his team in front in there first game of the new season. But come the 2nd half the home side took advantage of the ever-increasing windy conditions and were soon level. Adam Morley cleared a shot off his goal-line and goalkeeper Tom Lock was kept busy with high crosses coming in. A dubious penalty was then awarded to Real. Tom Lock then saved the penalty shot only to see the loose ball drill past him into the goal. The home side completed the scoreline with a long wind-assisted ball that beat Trowell’s defence. A brave attempt by Trowell, but were just not strong enough in the 2nd half of the game.
