Trowell attacked from kick off and after only 13 seconds play Faron Langley put Trowell a goal to the good. This seemed to set the pattern for the rest of the game as Faron then went on to complete a 10 minute hat-trick and take his league goal total to 10 so far this season.
A goal rout ensued and Oliver Severn, James Aldridge and a forced own-goal completed the scoring up to half-time.
After the break, Trowell were able to mix the team around with a change of keeper and forwards dropping back in defence. Further goals by Matthew Green, Jacob Browne, Adam Morley, Matthew Maplestone and Oliver Severn’s second finished off Trowell’s thrashing of Pegasus.
This was Trowell’s 6th clean sheet of the league season and now takes their goal tally to 75.
Special note should be made to Pegasus’ goalkeeper who still managed to show his skills at shot-stopping and good distribution and remained focused throughout the game.
