Big changes in Trowell FC

Chris Sambells has called it a day as Club Secretary of Trowell Football Club, Chris has been with us from the start but with his son, Ben having left the club he felt his heart wasn’t in it anymore. Sue Sambells our Child Welfare Officer will also be stepping down later in the season once our new C.W.O’s are up and running. Trowell Football Club could not have run without Chris and Sue¬† and as a volunteer myself i know that it can be a thankless task, they both took their rolls seriously and were very dedicated to the Club. They will both be missed and i would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all the work they have done and promise them the Club is in safe hands and will continue to grow and flourish under our new Committee.

Mark Stubbs will also step down as Chairman to change places with Anthony Beaumont as Vice Chairman. Mark feels that his work commitments are too great at the moment but will continue to support the club as Vice Chairman

David Flint will also be stepping down as Treasurer at the end of the Season after being with the Club since it was formed, David stayed on this season to help us until we could put the new Committee in place and again will be sorely missed. Big thanks Dave for all your hard work, you will now have to cut down on your holidays !!

Please give your support to out new Committee as we all try and get up to speed with our rolls:-

Chairman: Anthony Beaumont

Vice Chairman: Mark Stubbs

Club Secretary: Emma Browne

Treasurer: David Flint / Sharon Beaumont

C.W Officer: Sue Sambell, Clare Lock / Lynne Waters
